The official language of the symposium is English. All abstract submissions and presentations are to be conducted in English.
A commercial and professional exhibition will take place during the symposium,
parallel to the symposium hours.
Get Together Reception
A reception will be held on the early evening of Tuesday, 9 October, 2018. The reception will be open to all attendees and paid accompanying persons.
The Symposium Dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday, 11 October, 2018.
Climate and Clothing
AUTUMN (late Sept-Nov)
Daytime Israel temperatures are very pleasant; around 60-70F (15-25C) degrees in most of the country (still hot, though, around the Red Sea and Dead Sea). Jerusalem will be in the 40-50F (5-10C) in the evening. There will be some rain – nothing torrential.
Long sleeve shirts and a light Jacket or sweatshirt is all you need probably just early or late in the day.

Banking and Exchange
The Israeli monetary system is Shekel. Foreign currency may be changed at banks, airports, and very often at major hotels (generally at a less convenient rate).
All major credit cards are acceptable in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
All visitors are required to have a valid passport, and for some countries, a visa is required.
