Below you will find important information and resources to help you prepare for your role at OMAI 2026. Please refer to the section that corresponds to your role at OMAI 2026 and follow the steps outlined. We recommend that you visit this page regularly for updates.

General Information for all oral presentations
Oral presentations must be given in English.
The plenary hall is equipped with a laptop and projector. Presentations from your own laptop are not allowed.
For keynote lectures and sponsored symposia: Please upload your final presentation slides for your presentation on-site at https://upload.imk.ch/ latest by August 21, 2026, 11:59 am CET. Please add to the start of your file name the day and start time of your presentation, for example "Saturday_1000" for Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10:00 am CET.
For oral abstract presentations: Please upload your final presentation slides as instructed below in the section for oral abstract presentations.
If you need to provide your final presentation slides on-site and cannot submit / upload them prior to the event, please save them on a USB drive and hand them in to the organizers on-site no later than 3 hours before your presentation time.
Presentation format
- Presentation format (recommanded): 16:9
- Presentation file format: PPTX, PDF
- Video format: Avi, MPEG, MPG
Disclosure (must be included as the second slide following the title slide)
- List any financial interests or affiliations related to the information presented (e.g., sponsorship related to the information presented). Please also state if there are no financial interests or affiliations.
- Include any conflicts of interest related to the information presented. Please also indicate if there are no conflicts of interest.

Max. 9 minutes presentation, 2 minutes Q&A, 1 minute changeover time
Upload of oral abstract presentation slides
The final presentation slides for oral abstract presentations must be uploaded latest by August 21, 2026, 11:59 am CET.
To upload your final presentation slides for your presentation on-site, please log into your user account on this website used to submit your abstract. Go to View submitted paper/sessions and click on the Actions button to upload your final presentation slides. Upload with this system is limited to file sizes of 10 MB maximum. If your file size is larger, please upload your final presentation slides for your presentation on-site at https://upload.imk.ch/ latest by August 21, 2026, 11:59 am CET. Please add to the start of your file name the day and start time of your presentation, for example "Saturday_1000" for Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10:00 am CET.
Poster
Please observe the following guidelines when designing your poster:
Poster Design
Posters must be designed in A0 portrait format: 118.9 cm x 84.1 cm (height x width)
Your poster should include the following information:
- Title, authors and poster number
- Background/Aim
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion/Conclusion
You are free to choose the design. Language of the poster must be English.
Please bring a printed copy of your poster to OMAI 2026 and hang it yourself on the poster wall marked with your poster number.

Poster Flash Presentation
if your poster was also selected to be presented as a poster flash presentation, please check the interactive program for your time slot. You have to create a presentation slide show next to your poster when you are selected for a poster flash presentation.

Poster Removal
All posters that have not been removed from the poster walls by the authors by 15:00 CET on Monday, August 24, 2026, will be disposed of.
Awards
The three best posters will be awarded a poster award by the abstract jury. The award ceremony takes places on Monday, August 24, 2026, during the closing ceremony at 16:51-17:00 CET in the plenary hall.
Code of Conduct
The scientific integrity of OMAI 2026 and the promotion of meaningful scientific exchange are top priorities for the organizers. All discriminatory content and language must be avoided, and gender equality must be upheld in both spoken and written communication in all documents and presentations related to OMAI 2026.
