The scientific program of the 12th International Symposium on Objective Measures in Auditory Implants (OMAI 2026) focuses on the following main topics:
- Electrocochleography (EcochG)
- Cochlear microphonics, summating potential, action potential, intraoperative monitoring, residual hearing assessment, objective cochlear function, neural health, correlation with speech outcomes
- Bone conduction hearing and devices
- Vibration transmission analysis, bone conduction device testing, hearing prediction and outcomes
- Active middle ear implants
- Output verification, transducer function tests, LDV, objective coupling efficiency, middle ear mechanics, intraoperative and postoperative performance monitoring
- Passive middle ear prosthesis
- Ossicular chain mobility analysis, LDV, vibromechanical transfer function, middle ear mechanics, intraoperative and postoperative objective evaluation
- Objective measures and outcomes in CI
- eCAP, eABR, impedance telemetry, spread of excitation, neural health, correlation with speech outcomes
- Imaging / OCT / Photon counting CT
- Objective structural assessment, implant position quantification, electrode-to-modiolus distance, soft tissue differentiation, functional imaging correlations
- Cortical function
